Question # 1: Is AttenGo really effective?

Yes, absolutely. AttenGo has proven to be a very effective training program for treating attention deficits associated with ADD, ADHD, head injuries and cognitive impairments related to injury and aging. Question # 2: How long will it take to see results?

Results depend on the severity of the symptoms and on how frequently you are going to train. With a regular training routine of 3-5 times a week, for about 20 to 30 minutes each session, (young children require shorter sessions) you can expect to see initial results within 2 to 6 weeks and complete the program in 4 to 6 months. In fact, while the rate of improvement varies from person to person, some people already notice initial gains after the first few training sessions. Question # 3: How is your program different from other programs in the market?

AttenGo is very different from other programs. In general, there are four major program categories in the market:

A)   The first category includes what’s commonly referred to as “Brain Games”, “Brain Teasers” or “Mental Fitness”. These programs offer simple brain exercises, that may keep the brain somewhat more alert, but cannot possibly offer a methodical, remedial approach, nor any significant long term changes in brain performance required by people suffering from ADD, ADHD, and head injury and so on.

B)   The second category includes educational programs that emphasize coping and general knowledge. The problem with this kind of approach is that is does not really solve the problem, just helps a child or an adult in coping better with their condition, but they will still experience the difficulties associated with their symptoms.

C)   The third category includes computerized cognitive related exercises.  Although such training is beneficial, many of the programs are not comprehensive enough to include all fundamental cognitive skills.  Also, most of them are not accompanied by clinical support, and are basically shelf products that provide only superficial training.

D)   The fourth category includes neuro-feedback and biofeedback systems, which are good modalities for helping in re-training the brain to produce attention-related frequencies (called Beta waves).  These modalities, however, do not develop basic cognitive skills, and therefore in many cases, do not offer sufficient or permanent results.

Question # 4: Do I or my child need a diagnosis in order to begin training with AttenGo?  

No, a diagnosis is not necessary. Diagnosis is important when administering drugs. AttenGo’s built in pre-training assessment will accurately asses the scope and severity of the difficulties and customize a specific training program accordingly. It will then work on developing a stronger neuro-cognitive foundation, which in turn will improve all aspects of attention, focus, concentration and memory.
